H. C. Bunner


Henry Cuyler Bunner was the editor of Puck for many years, and was responsible for making the magazine highly influential.
Not only was he a great magazine editor, but occasionally turned out clever (lengthy) short stories that
were often quite humorous, and featured deeply drawn, sympathetic characters. We do not
feature Bunner stories very often in the Basement, but may add some more from time to time.
